Sinister plot to immortalize Arafat’s teachings and leadership, or sentimental goodbye among those w

by @ 9:52 am. Filed under Religion On The Web

“People on this night are going to be on several different levels. No doubt we are on the lowest level, so we are hoping in this night to attain the honor and illumination granted in it. When we reach a higher level and as it is a holy night in the heavens as well, we will begin to sense something [of the great power being manifested] on this night. Whoever is at the highest spiritual level must be present for this night in the Divine Presence of the Lord.” http://www.crescentlife.com/spirituality/laylat_al_qadr.htm

“Sources in the defense establishment believe tomorrow will be the day on which the Palestinians will ask to disconnect Arafat from life support and announce his death. Tomorrow night marks Lailat al-Kader, the night Muslims believe God revealed the Koran to the prophet Mohammed. The death of the Palestinian leader on that day will, therefore, be symbolic.” http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/498629.html

“The bill specifically forbids Arafat from being buried anywhere in Israel. “Because of his disease,” the bill reads, “the State of Israel allowed Arafat to leave for the sake of medical treatment. This bill requests a ban on his return to Israel or to the Palestinian Authority areas, whether to stay or to pass through. The bill also wishes to prevent his burial in these areas, lest the site turn into a pilgrimage attraction, a symbol, and a source of inspiration for the war against Israel’s existence.”" Arutz-7 news: Tuesday Nov 9, 2004

“”We chose Ramallah because it is close to Jerusalem, where we are hoping to bury him in the near future,” said Hassan Khraisheh, deputy speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council and member of a special committee entrusted with overlooking the funeral arrangements. Palestinians said that after Arafat would be buried there, a mosque and monument would be built inside the compound.” http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=JPost/JPArticle/P rinter&cid=1099973628375&p=1078113566627

“Sha’ath said there is no talk of removing Arafat from life support. “We are not really believers in euthanasia. The man is not suffering; he is in a coma … It’s out of the question that anybody is thinking of taking any such decisions,” he said.” http://edition.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/11/09/arafat/index.html

Waiting till the Night of Power to pull the plug on Arafat’s life support would have effectively placed him on the “highest spiritual level” quoted above, and therefore, “in the divine presence of” allah. However, as the PA officals didn’t remove his life support, even his burial in Ramallah, complete with a mosque and monument to boot, will do one of two things in the minds and hearts of Muslims worldwide who revered Arafat in this life.

1) Arafat will be elevated to prophet status, and his teachings, sayings, decrees, etc, spread throughout the Islamic world, and be followed even more devoutly than in his lifetime. Thus ensuring PA leadership, that their goals to wipe out the Jews and Christians wherever they may be found, will be carried out in even greater numbers, dedication, and determination than in the past.

In this situation, pulling the plug on Lailat al-Kader would have been a ploy to ensure that policies, goals, ideology, and commitment to Arafat’s cause is further entrenched and carried out. Such a ploy would have taken advantage of Muslim thought and desire on this day, and basically forcing what many call “the new Islam” down everyone’s throat, as refusal to honor a prophet brings harsh discipline.

Burial complete with mosque and monument will very likely do the same thing in the minds of the moslem people, as not only will they come to mourn, but also come to worship.

2) Arafat will receive the burial fitting for a prophet, and many will come merely to mourn his passing, but no elevation to prophet status will occur.

This is less likely to happen, as in order to have his death be symbolic on the night of Lailat al-Kader, moslems would have to admit that Arafat was spoken to by allah himself, and that his death is a sign that his words are to be whole-heartedly honored and obeyed.

It’s bad enough that the IDF is bracing for riots and increased violence in PA-controlled areas following the news of Arafat’s death. But to have millions of moslems suddenly claim Arafat as a prophet will make matters worse for Jews, and Christians around the world. It’s already bad enough that a BBC reporter cried over his release to a Paris hospital. The added sympathy, honor, mourning, and allegiance to his teachings will only congeal supporters world-wide as well.

I see therefore, a potential polarization of East versus West, of People of the Book versus Islam in the coming days. Saudi Arabia is already treating the war in Iraq as a holy war. PA-bred terrorists are already in Iraq killing Americans and other national groups the same way they’ve been killing Jews in Israel for years.

Arafat is not another Louie Riel(http://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.com/index.cfm?PgNm=TCE&Pa rams=J1ARTJ0006837), to be decried, then enshrined, then decried, then a statue built, repeatedly going from hero to villain and back again. Arafat, plain and simple, is a villain on a massive scale. He will be a hero to the strain of Islam he revived and its sympathizers, and a villain to those who don’t adhere or sympathize with his ways and teachings.

I say be watchful in coming days. Whether intended by the PA leadership or not, Islam may have just turned a corner. Jews and Christians beware.

Men’s Health Supplements

by @ 10:22 pm. Filed under Nutrition Resources

When trying to get in the best shape, exercise can only take you so far. In addition to a regular exercise regimen and a healthy diet, there are plenty of companies out there that offer men’s health supplements that can help maximize the results of your work. Here are a couple of them:

Creatine: A few years ago, creatine came on the market and revolutionized the workout scene. One of the most popular sports supplements of all time, creatine is not just for bodybuilders; it is now becoming known as a supplement that can help a number of health related disorders, including its use as an anti-aging nutrient. A compound comprised of several different amino acids, creatine was discovered in 1835. Naturally occurring in red meat, our bodies also produce creatine in minute quantities. It is stored in our muscles, and creatine supplements have proven effective in increasing lean muscle mass, reducing fat, and increasing strength. It may also help with fighting Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease and fibromyalgia. In addition, it may help reduce cholesterol and improve heart functionality while fending off brain disorders.

Although it has been alleged that creatine may cause kidney damage, scientific studies have not so far proven this. However, if you have kidney problems, you are probably best off to avoid this supplement.

Whey Protein:

Whey protein is simply a rich source of essential amino acids that can aid the body in producing new tissues and repairing old ones. Used in bodybuilding, high amounts of protein are required to bulk up. Whey is one of the most easily digested forms of protein, and also contains antioxidants which can help the body’s functionality in a big way. One of the key men’s health supplements when on a workout regimen, this widely used supplement has proven results.

Procure Plumber Public Liability Insurance via the Web

by @ 9:31 pm. Filed under Insurance

With the compensation culture increasing throughout the planet, possessing public liability insurance is turning out to be more & more necessary. If you don’t at present have professionally indemnity insurance included into your building cover, then now is the moment in time to look at buying better cover. Here is some suggestions about why you require cover, & what to pay attention to.

What is public liability cover: Public Liability insurance is an insurance policy that protects you from claims that other individuals may well make against you in the chance of an accident. If somebody damages their possessions or wounds themselves in or around your property or company then the professional indemnity insurance will protect you for any expenses that could perhaps happen. Insurance usually ranges from two-hundred and fifty pounds up to one million pounds.

What are you covered against: Insurance will insure cover for accidents or loss that others could experience in or around your house or organisations site. You are protected from claims from robbers in addition to injury that might perhaps crop up to anybody from falling objects or staff carrying out maintenance. If a disaster arises on your property and someone claims against you, your insurance will support you to pay any damages. Get a professional indemnity insurance quote online at InsuredRisks.co.uk.

What’s included A lot of contents or property insurance policies contain integrated liability insurance. You should check with your insurer if this is the case, & what level of cover you have. Even if the insurance is built-in, you need to guarantee that you are adequately protected for any particular accidents that might happen.

Payment: The payments that you are likely to have to pay depend on the type of protection you buy. If you only cover your house, then payments are likely to be a smaller amount than if you are covering a business. Nevertheless, premiums are pretty cheap for the level of cover that you receive and its as a result critical for anybody running an organisation.

Do You Hate Japanese Beetles?

by @ 9:19 pm. Filed under The Sales Way

Do you hate Japanese Beetles? Give them away.

Yes, It is better to give than to receive. This old motto is even good for Japanese beetles. Japanese Beetles can be controlled with traps that lore the beetle with food and sex attractants. These are generally a bag trap that one hangs 4-5 feet off the ground. It is never a good idea to place them near your plants that they will eat. So I simply suggest give them to your neighbor at Christmas!!!

What we do on the farm is we hang the trap on branches of a tree that overhangs our pond and open up the bottom. The little critters fall into the pound and our fish clean them up. What a way to recycle and not have to empty the traps.

Some of the effected popular flowers and trees favored by the beetles are:

annual asters astilbe canna cosmos daylilly delphinium hollyhoch iris marigold peony roses zinnia Linden trees purple plums

Speeding Up Web Design Process

by @ 2:22 pm. Filed under School of Webbing

You thought it all over a hundred times before and you have
finally decided to put your business on the Web (or to replace
that embarrassment of a website that was actually turning heads
when it was first made during the nineties). Now you probably
think it will be enough to find the right web design company and
they will take care of everything. It should be easy for you…
Well, think twice! There are thousands of web design companies
in the world and choosing the right one isn’t easy especially
when you don’t know where to look and how to determine what is
the right choice for your needs. In this article I will help you
do your homework before you end up being disappointed either
with a lousy website you’ll get or with spending way more than
you initially expected. First of all, you have to do some
research (Google, Yahoo, MSN…) typing keywords that you would use
if you wanted to find services or information related to your
own business. This way you will be one step closer to getting to
know your competition. Since many of the results will be useless
and not necessarily related to your business, the next step is
filtering the results in order to make a selection of websites
that are similar to your own website needs. When you’ve made
your final selection sort the remaining websites by: a) great
visual appearance and b) good functionality (these two
characteristics are the two most important defining factors of
any web site). Go through these two categories and make notes
about what you liked at every site regarding design: logo
design, nice images, flash animation, useful navigation,
attractive color scheme, etc. and also find out and note what
your competition put on their website: what kind of information
they have included, how do they make their visitors stay and
research further, what is the structure of the sites and how the
content is organized. Finally, make an exhaustive list of things
you want to put on your future web site. Now that you have
collected all the information you needed you will see that you
are much more certain about what you want and how do you want it
to be done. Now you should collect all the material that you
need for your website: articles, images, legal stuff, related
texts, reviews, technical information… It is important that
you collect as much material as you can because that process
will get you a much clearer picture of requirements of your
business than you had in the very start and in the end you will
know exactly what you need and what you don’t need on your
website. Next step is narrowing down your list of web sites with
good design (three to four examples) and finding out which web
design firms created those websites. If you can find out who did
it, take a tour through their site: look at their portfolio,
learn about their pricing and collect their contact information.
Almost every decent web design firm will have an RFQ form where
they will ask you questions about your web site needs, your
budget, colors you would like to use, links of a few web sites
that are similar to what you need and details for each site
(e.g. “has the features I need but design is lousy”) and if you
remember what I said earlier in this article you see that these
are all questions you already know the answers for. :-) This
way, not only that you will speed up your designing process by
telling your web designer exactly what you want and having all
the material ready, but you will also know exactly what is good
and what you want to be changed when you see first design mockup
from a designer. Finally, what is most important, you will avoid
hiring a firm that’s not fit to do it right or within your
budget.

Mont-Blanc Grows in Volume since 2001 According to Scientists

by @ 7:32 pm. Filed under Travel Stuff

Recent careful Global Positioning System readings conducted on the 17-18th August have proven that Monte Bianco measures 4810.7 m. Monte Bianco is covered by a thick ice cap which has augmented by 2.4 metres in just 2 years however more suprisingly the volume of the ice and snow has almost doubled up . Least ways that’s as reported by the professionals.

The bulk of snow and ice was measured for the initial time in 2002. It worked out to be 14400 cubic metres above 4750 metres. It equaled only 13900 meters cubed in 2005 potentially due to the high temperatures with plus temperatures even at 4850 meters elevation. Moreover the ice-cap has all but doubled since then and today equals 22000 metres cubed.

Chamonix Mont Blanc’s reputable local weather man Evan Perry stated the development in the mass of the ice is among the perverse consequences of climate change: Snowfall hasn’t grown generally in the Alps merely with climate change we’re having added hot prevailing westerly air currents that bring in rain lower down but during summertime this translates to significant snowfall that rests higher up than 3900 m altitude thus the amount of the ice cap is rising. Contrast that to the situation in winter where snow crystals are extremely cold and are carried by wind and so do not settle down on the summit.

Discount Software – Secrets Revealed

by @ 4:57 pm. Filed under House Of Software

What’s the catch with discount software? Is it a scam? How come you can buy a
popular software title having up to 20% discount of the initial price?

There are several popular titles, and I’m talking about all sorts of titles,
that are used by millions of persons, around the Globe. A few months ago,
anti-spy utilities were very popular. Everywhere you looked, there was a banner
for an anti-spy tool. Then, everybody’s computers began to run slower, because
suddenly, everybody wanted to optimize Windows registries and file system.
SpeedUpMyPC and Registry Mechanic are only two of the available titles that can
do this kind of jobs.

Today, we are bombarded with DVD ripping technologies. Products like dvdSanta,
DVD Ripper or Xilisoft DVD Ripper are all over the net. I am pretty sure they
are very good, because millions bought them.

There are several ways you can buy software:
* Click on the “order now” or “buy now” buttons within the applications.
* Follow the links from the help files.
* Search for the order pages on the product website.
* Take one of the discount offers from a software archive.

Most of the vendors encourage software archives. As you know, a software archive
is a collection of freeware and shareware, games and utilities and many other
categories. If one program has a free-to-try version or a demo, you can download
it from there. You can also buy it directly from the archive.

Not many software archives offer discounts, because they reduce the revenue per
unit sold. The affiliate (software archive) has a 10- 40% commission on every
sale. If he reduces the price with 5 % on his website, then his profit is 5 –
35%. Then he has to rely on quantity to raise profit, because his profit per
unit is decreased. The most common situation is the “fifty-fifty deal”: the
affiliate site offers a discount equal to half the commission. So, if the
commission is 40%, the software archive keeps 20%, and the buyer keeps 20%.

Actually, this is a win-win-win situation. The buyer is happy because he saves
20% of the product price. The vendor is happy because every sold unit means more
money to him, and more possibilities to improve his business. And, of course,
the affiliate is satisfied because he has some profit, and a happy customer is a
returning customer that might buy something else.

You just have to be careful when buying software online. Don’t purchase from
strange looking sites. Don’t follow “amazing deals” that offer over 50%
discount. I am not familiar with any vendor that would give away more than 50%
of the price to a reseller, and you have to keep in mind that the affiliate has
to earn something too, or the commission would have to be even higher!

I recommend CoreDownload
http://www.coredownload.com/ , a software archive with all the popular
titles and up to 20% discount of initial prices.

Author Info:
Ted Peterson writes for CoreDownload http://www.coredownload.com/ – Download essential games and utilities. Purchase online having up to 20% discount of the initial price for popular titles like dvdSanta, SpeedUpMyPC and more.

Grief – Why Do We Grieve?

by @ 4:28 pm. Filed under Living With Psychology

A young boy is close to his mother. He is five years old and she is thirty years old. She is in contact with her everyday of his life. He experiences her love in many forms. The way she calls him, the way she gives him shower, the way she feeds him conditions the boy to expect a certain kind of response from his mother. His senses of touch, smell, hearing and vision give input to his nervous system that produce certain physiological responses in his body. This response is mediated through his endocrine system, which, at the age of five years is not well developed. At this time in his life, he needs his mother. He is dependent on her for his survival.

Suppose his mother dies when he is ten years old and the mother was young, 35 years old. The boy is still dependent on the mother emotionally and physically. He is unable to comprehend where the mother has gone. He searches for his mother and she is nowhere to be found. But when he remembers her image, his body longs for the touch, the smell, the voice and the sight of her. He does not understand what death means. But he is confused. He feels sad and wants to cry. His father tells him that it is unmanly to cry. So he does not allow himself to remember his mother. Life goes on. He does not cry. Many years later, he becomes an adult. He is well placed financially and has a status in society. He has achieved everything that his mother wanted him to acheieve. He learns one day that the mother of his close friend has died. He then bursts into tears. He cries and cries and cries. His family members advise him to take medication as they feel he is depressed.

After his crying is over, he experiences a sudden sense of relief. He feels as if a load has been taken off his shoulders. His body has concluded his own grief of his mother.

In another scenario, the young man becomes a responsible adult. He achieves whatever he wants to achieve in life. He is self-sufficient. His mother is now an old lady. He still loves her. But he is no longer dependent on her emotionally, physically or financially. He also knows that if his mother was to die now, he would feel sad but that he would not be devastated. A few years later, his mother dies. He cries over the loss for a short period and then realises that his mother is happy where she is. His own life need to continue on its own without her physical presence. He is happy for her.

In the first case, the physiological grieving experience of the boy was blocked by his father. The father had conditioned him to believe that crying over his mother’s death was either not healthy or was an unacceptable activity. The boy’s body was at that time making an effort to undo the conditioning that he was physiologically used to experience in the presence of his mother. His whole life was consumed and emotionally frozen with his mother’s memories, till his friend’s mother died. At that time did he allow himself to ‘unfreeze’ his grief. When the nervous system experienced full expression of his emotions he felt ‘relieved’.

In the second case, the young man had already grown out of the dependence on his mother when she died. He had become independent off her in many ways. His nervous and endocrine systems were allowed to experience grief in a natural manner. So the grief period was short. He never carried any emotional burden due to this loss.

The human body is conditioned in many ways. In relationships, our body and our subconscious mind get ‘used to’ the sounds, touch, sight and smell of another person. This is done through chemicals present in our bodies. Such emtional memories are mediated through neuropeptides. When we are in the presence of such a person a particular cocktail of neurotransmitters and hormones is produced. This forms a physiological identity of the other person in the body. When the person dies, then the sight of the dead person is helpful for concluding grief. But the ‘physiological identity’ of the dead person is mismatched because of the conditioning of the body to see the person alive. So the neuro-endocrine system goes into a turmoil. Crying is an integral part of this process. After the weeping activity is over, the body becomes emotionally and physiologically stable and calms down. Grieving is then over

Insighting Human Behavior thru Gravity Wave Simulations of the Moon

by @ 3:42 pm. Filed under Living With Psychology

Every police officer will tell you that when there is a full moon, the natives are restless and it will be a long night, with lots of arrests and paperwork? This is a known fact one which cannot be dismissed so easily after such basic observations. An evolutionary theorist would say this is because on moonlit nights our ancient ancestors went on night hunts or that the Sabertooth tigers came to hunt us? Some say these things date back to our Tree Shrew ancestry, all of which Darwin might agree is plausible. Other more spiritual folks might say it is a special time, which brings out human emotion and spirits? Sounds cool to me. I could go for that one? Whatever the case is Lunar Cycles and full moons cause or help along Earth Shift movements of Tectonic plates, coincide with ocean wave actions and indeed cause the behavior shift of many life forms on the Planet’s surface. Could this be from an interaction of gravity waves between Earth and Moon? If so does it affect the resonance of mother Earth’s 7.89 Hz or heartbeat?

What if we take these variations from these interactions and intensify them; using wave manipulation on the human brain. Oh no, you are so evil; you are now saying? Must be those spirits coming out for the next moon cycle, but all kidding aside, can we insight human emotion, emotional out bursts or even fear thru gravity wave simulations on the human body. Can we use sound directional technologies to focus it on someone’s skull while they are in a completely scientific environment? What kinds of behavior can we expect? Well as our policemen friends say we might expect some rather rotten, hostile or aggressive behavior. Indeed this maybe the case, but whatever it is we will find, we need to experiment and see, as the opposite might be like music to the common beast. Thus we have a way to heal, or mellow out as well or alert a population in times of impending danger to take charge to defend themselves. In times of war we can get our enemy to make a move and come out of hiding rather than wait to see where we will be attacked in an ambush. Anyway, think on this.
