The World Cup 2010 Schedule Is Finalised

The draw for the 2010 World Cup happened on the 4th December in Cape Town. The fate of the various countries was decided by sporting greats from around the world. David Beckham was amongst the stars that made the draw.Thousands of people will now be able to book up their world cup packages to ensure they are a part of the action.The first match of the World Cup will be the Group A match between South Africa and Mexico in Johannesburg at 16:00. The two other sides in Group A are Uruguay and France. Group B is made up Argentina, Nigeria, Greece and Korea Republic, Argentina will be favourites to win this group despite almost failing to qualify for the finals. England and USA were drawn in the same group and will battle it out at the Royal Bafokeng stadium in Rustenburg. There will be lots of fans booking their England world cup packages to hopefully see their country make it through the group stages. Slovenia and Algeria are the two other teams in Group C. Germany, Australia, Ghana and Serbia are the countries that make up Group D, the Germans will be looking to top this game, however as everyone knows there are no easy games at the World Cup. Group E sees the Netherlands take on Denmark in their first group match at the Soccer City stadium in Johannesburg. Cameroon v Japan is the other opening game in Group E, they will play in Bloemfontein. One of the favourites for the title this time round Brazil have be drawn against Portugal, Korea DPR and the Ivory Coast in Group G. The game against Portugal should be a great encounter with two great footballing countries. The current European champions, Spain, will take on Honduras, Switzerland and Chile in Group H.There a many different travel companies offering world cup packages for the different stages of the World Cup.
